The Galgos are coming!   In April, David and Marci Anderson will travel to Barcelona, Spain for a rescue mission to help abandoned galgos.  With the help of SCG volunteer, Alicia Daerr, SCG received an extremely generous grant from PNC to rescue these horribly abused greyhounds in 2012.   Steel City Greyhounds partnership with SOS Galgos' was created in 2004.  Our relationship has been affectionately called the "Paws Across the Pond" partnership.  Since then, SCG has successfully saved the lives of almost 30 abused galgos.  This international rescue mission has created and established a relationship with Anna Clements and Albert Sorde, founders of SOS Galgos.  Check out the SOS Galgos website for more information about the plight of the galgo.  Watch for photos of the rescue mission coming in April.     New Steel City Greyhounds brochure coming soon!
