  Thursday, July 2nd from 2pm-3pm meet us at Lucky Paws Pet Resort---luckypawsresort.com for an hour of fun and sun.  Remember that you MUST bring your pup's shot records in order to be permitted to join in the fun!  Don't forget to bring a towel! 
  
  Our next "Hounds on the Town" (HOTT) event will be on Saturday, July 11th from 12 noon to 3pm! Come out to Walnut Street in Shadyside and shop till you drop with the hounds! Meet available greys, meet greyhound owners, ask questions and discover what wonderful pets greyhounds can be! Enjoy shopping, eating, or just petting the hounds! Look for us across from the Apple Store! Hope to see you there.

• Visit Ohio State University's Greyhound Wellness website!  See how the veterinary students traveled to Spain in 2008 to help the galgos in the Scooby Shelter!  Find helpful information for your hound(s)!  You'll be amazed at how much you can find out about our beloved canine friends.  You don't want to miss this site!  http://www.vet.ohio-state.edu/GHWP.htm 

   

• SCG has a huge weekend! Never before had we had such a full weekend! Saturday, May 16th we spent the afternoon from 12noon-5pm cooking hot dogs and selling merchandise at the Washington Petco Pet Adoption Fair! Thank you to everyone who helped us set up and meet-n-greet on behalf of the hounds! We successfully raised $208!

• Please consider giving a greyhound a home!  Every time a greyhound goes unemployed, he or she desperately needs to find a home fast or their luck will surely run out. If you can find it in your heart to welcome a wonderful canine friend into your home, please contact us!

• SCG needs volunteers!  We need people who want to walk the available greyhounds and attend area meet-n-greets. If you are a GREYHOUND OWNER and can offer some time to help the currently available greys, please let us know. info@steelcitygreyhounds.org
   

• All year long, we can use recycled canine items.  Please donate gently used leashes, martingale collars or coats back to SCG for some needy galgos in Barcelona, Spain.
